Many (most/all?) games with custom DS4 support don't seem to support the new controllers either. ![]() If you don't prevent games from seeing the DirectInput device, many games will receive dual inputs from two separate controllers and won't know what to do or inputs will be doubled up. Steam prevents the game from seeing the DirectInput device so that it sees an XInput device instead - just like DS4 Windows does with the "Hide DS4" (Exclusive Mode) option which is required for many games to work correctly.
